On the preserved Pirot kilims of earlier date mild and calm nuances of dark blue, red and green prevail. Besides, on this kilim also appear yellow and white colours. In the middle of the central field there is a rhomboid medallion filled with čenđeli ornament. Inside four smaller rhombi, placed in the corners, there are interesting stylisations of a human figure surrounded by the branches with pomegranates (narovi). The rest of the central field is filled with bibice ornament, while the wide border (ploča) is decorated with the tree of life motif. According to Milena Vitković Žikić, a similar kilim is preserved at the Osman Pazvantoglu mosque in Vidin.
